Each approved competitor may receive up to $450 per calendar year, disbursed after submission of official score sheets and fee receipts. The cap reflects the average number of scored matches available within New Jersey borders during a single season. Payments are processed through the state treasurer's office within 45 days of complete documentation.
Data from the prior two seasons indicate that 41 percent of reimbursements went to residents of the six southernmost counties, while those counties represent only 19 percent of the state's junior population.
